Horticulture is the science of growing and managing ornamental and native plants, as well as plant systems, and we specialise in understanding all aspects of both natural and ornamental landscapes. Our problem-solving skills enable us to assess landscape conditions and pinpoint the source of poor appearance and performance. We also collaborate with designers to assess existing conditions prior to planting and make recommendations to ensure the success of future landscapes. A disease infection, pest infestation, irrigation deficiency, improper installation, poor plant selection, soil toxicities and deficiencies, or drainage impairment may be identified as the source of a performance problem through an assessment of signs and symptoms present on individual plants or throughout a landscape planting.
